I now make high quality, handmade wooden pens. I select the finest pieces of wood that I can find. Then I carefully hand turn and assemble each pen myself. The woods that I use primarily are different types of burl. A burl is a funny looking growth on the side of a tree, but they make the most beautiful pens in the world. Trees are not cut down to harvest the burls. Only the burl is cut off and the tree remains healthy.

The cost of shipping for a pen via priority mail is $5. If more than one pen is ordered, I can combine shipping. If you would like insurance, there will be an extra charge.

I make several types of writing instruments.

1) Slimline ball point pens with cross style refills: Price range is $20-40.

2) Slimline style mechanical pencils with .7mm lead: Price range is $20-40.

3) European style ball point pens with cross style refills: Price range is $35-65.

4)Baron style roller ball pen with parker style refill: Price range is $60-110.

5)Baron style fountain pen: Price range is $65-115.

All writing instruments have been finely sanded. They have a coat of friction polish followed by a coat of wax.

Available finishes for pen parts are chrome, black titanium, satin chrome, sliver, and gunmetal. These vary depending on what I have in stock and the pen type.

Wood types that I use include: Red Mallee Burl, Brown Mallee Burl, Amboyna Burl, Thuya Burl, Red Box Burl, and Jarrah Burl.
